Potica ( Po-teet-zah) An old world bread made with a a rich walnut honey filling or a rich honey walnut-raisin filling. It can be sliced and topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, drizzled with honey or as tradition states: top a slice with a warm piece of honey baked ham. My personal favorite way to eat Potica is to cut a slice while it is still warm in the pan!! Ooohhh my!! now, that's a slice of Heaven!!
